How Can Banked Cells Be Used?

If you bank your stem cells with Celltex, you will have access to a clinical trials network that is constantly expanding.  In the U.S., cells can only be released in Investigational New Drug (IND) clinical trials.  We are working with leading academic institutions on initiating some of these trials and will be announcing them in the near future.

We understand the need for immediate access to one’s own stem cells and have partnered with leading treatment facilities in Mexico.  Under special permissions, Celltex can send stem cell products to authorized treatment facilities in Cancun and Guadalajara, Mexico.

No method of providing adult stem cells has received more rigorous clinical safety study than the technology used by Celltex.

A peer-reviewed study in Stem Cells and Development, among other journals, has demonstrated the safety of the injection of autologous MSCs prepared with the patented method used by Celltex. The study has been applauded as a landmark demonstration of safety in the August 2011 issue by stem cell scientists at Duke, Tulane and Louisiana State University. The study has also been cited in numerous other medical journals including the July 2011 issue of The Lancet Neurology.

In addition, dozens of other clinical trials conducted by researchers in more than a dozen nations have demonstrated the safety of using MSCs, and in particular those obtained from fat, and hundreds of pre-clinical animal studies have confirmed the same findings.
